Abandoned Watertown building may get new lease on life

The long-abandoned old Berow and Monroe Building in Watertown will be sold to a local developer. City Council authorized the sale of the building located on Court Street to S&J Properties for $30,000 earlier this week.

Goodyear in Watertown could move to old Blockbuster site

The old Blockbuster on Arsenal Street in Watertown could soon be torn down. Goodyear, which is currently located off of Court Street in the city, is looking to move to that area located at 1240 Arsenal Street. Developers are proposing a 6,000 square-foot automotive center be built on the property that would house Goodyear.

Developer Chosen For Former Shoe Store

The Watertown City Council has chosen local businessman Steve Bradley as their developer of choice for the former Berow and Monroe store building in downtown, giving him six months to come up with financing for the property.
