Jobs and the lack thereof is among the chief concerns for most residents in St. Lawrence County.


According to a new study conducted through the Center for Community Studies at Jefferson Community College, 61 percent of residents polled indicated that there aren't enough employment opportunities. Despite that, 59 percent of the people said their overall quality of life in St. Lawrence County is either good or excellent.


That percentage is down a bit, though, from just last year.
