Watertown ties record-high temperature on Thursday
Posted by news on 5/13/2016 5:26:00 AM.

Was it hot enough for you yesterday? That old tired phrase got some use as temperatures soared into the 80s on Thursday.

And it just so happens, according to the National Weather Service, Watertown tied a record high. The Watertown International Airport reported the temperature rose to 81 degrees, which matches similar temps recorded back in 1992 and then again in 2014.

The record low for yesterday's date was 27 degrees, which was set in 2005.
