Watertown residents arrested on meth charges after traffic stop

Two Watertown residents are facing drug charges following a traffic stop earlier this week.

Police say 44-year-old Randal Bell of High Street had .5 grams of methamphetamine in the center cup holder of his vehicle when they pulled him over on William Street around 12:30 Thursday morning. Bell has been charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Man allegedly chucks envelopes containing heroin out of his car in Watertown

A man being pulled over on Mill Street in Watertown late last week is accused of throwing heroin out of his vehicle. Police say 34-year-old Kentrell Barner of Clay tossed 18 envelopes containing the drug out of his car last Friday. Barner is also said to have had about $1,400 in cash on him.
