Former Cornell football standout passes away

A former football standout at Cornel was found dead earlier this week. Forty-nine-year-old Lee Reherman was found dead by his girlfriend at his Los Angeles home. He recently had hip replacement surgery and had complained about not feeling well after the procedure.

Reherman graduated with honors from Cornell and then earned a master's in business administration. At the time of his death he was pursuing a doctorate at the University of California at the time of his passing. Reherman was probably best known, though, as both an actor on shows like the X-Files and as "Hawk" on American Gladiators back in the 1990's. Reherman had just taken part in a documentary that explores football life in the Ivy League. He is survived by his father and two brothers.
