Watertown City Council to debate pro baseball team

-- City Council in Watertown is expected to vote on the future of the newly reformed Watertown Bucks. The independent professional baseball team has new owners, front office fficials and and a new league.

It's looking to use the Fairgrounds baseball complex this summer. Some council members have shown concern about the feasibility of the reformed team and league, while Parks and Rec leader Erin Garnder has said she doesn't want to see the ball field go dark this summer. Other teams have expressed interest in Watertown but not for this summer.
