E-cigarettes would be banned on school property and school buses if a new law gets the "okay" from Albany.
State Senator Patty Ritchie announced the legislation that she says is designed to "protect the health of students across the state." Electronic cigarettes are actually not covered by current laws that ban tobacco on all school grounds. The measure passed unanimously in the Senate and is now headed to the Assembly where it is garnering favor on both sides of the aisle.
