Factory in Brownville set to go to auction
Posted by news on 4/27/2016 5:21:00 AM.
The building that most recently housed paper manufacturer Florelle Tissue Corp in Brownville is heading to auction in the next couple of months.

The plant produced paper products like napkins until closing its doors in August of 2013 -- leaving some loans given out by local agencies in jeopardy.

At one point, Florelle took money from the JCIDA, JCLDC and other agencies, all to the tune of at least $125,000 each. Exactly how much the company, and its owner Harry Minas of Canada, still owes is not known.
