The heat and dry conditions are taking their toll on the North Country.
As a result of the warmer temps and lack of rain, officials in the village of Norwood in St. Lawrence County are asking residents to conserve water.
It's not a warning, but rather just a recommendation to turn off faucets when brushing teeth or to avoid using sprinklers for any extended periods of time.
Our tri-county region has been classified as abnormally dry by an organization that monitors rainfall in New York.
Several other portions of the North Country have also experienced water troubles so far this early summer season.
