It's one of the scariest advisories the National Weather Service can give out: A tornado warning. And it was in effect yesterday evening in southeastern Lewis County.
The call went out at about 6:10 p.m. and lasted for about an hour. While storms rolled in through that area, Constableville, Port Leyden and Lyons Falls all fell into the warning. Luckily, officials lifted the warning a shortime later.
Meanwhile, thunderstorm watches were issued for Jefferson and other portions of Lewis throughout the night.
