Preliminary matters are scheduled to begin today in the murder trial of Oral "Nick" Hillary.
Hillary is accused of strangling 12-year-old Garrett Phillips to death at an apartment back in October of 2011.
Today, attorneys on both sides will likely argue the merit of key DNA evidence. The judge presiding over the case ruled it not admissible last month, but the prosecution is pushing for him to reverse that decision.
Jury selection for the trial could start as early as tomorrow.
And be aware, there are certain temporary parking restrictions at the courthouse that will be in place for at least the next week.
