Two Watertown residents are facing drug charges following a traffic stop earlier this week.

Police say 44-year-old Randal Bell of High Street had .5 grams of methamphetamine in the center cup holder of his vehicle when they pulled him over on William Street around 12:30 Thursday morning. Bell has been charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Thirty-two-year-old Eliesha Miner, who lives with Bell, was a passenger in the vehicle and she is also facing seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Bell and Miner are due back in City Court early next month.
