Former New York Senate Majority Leader Skelos working on appeals claim

Lawyers for former State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos plan to argue what their client did may have been "unwise" but not illegal. His attorneys are laying plans for his appeal.


Skelos was convicted last December of using his position to get his son high-paying jobs.

His attorneys say that despite being found guilty on corruption charges, it was not a federal crime.
