The Lewis County District Attorney is looking to Onondaga County to help prosecute an upcoming case.

According to 7 News, DA Leanne Moser is seeking assistance for the upcoming Brenda Roth case.

Roth is accused of not attempting to save the life of a 14-year-old boy who overdosed at her house, potentially on prescription drugs she allegedly gave the teen. She is facing second-degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide.

Moser claims she is asking for help because she has three major cases that could be on the docket all within a short time of each other.

Recently, Onondaga County DA William FitzPatrick helped in the murder case of Oral "Nick" Hillary in St. Lawrence County Court.
