Harrisville Central Sued Over Body and Cavity Search

Shocking allegations have been revealed in a lawsuit against the Harrisville Central School District and some of its top leaders.

According to the Watertown Daily Times, a former Harrisville Central School District student, identified only as Jane Doe, filed the federal lawsuit Thursday, claiming she was forced to subject to a strip search and full body cavity search by school staff after falsely being accused of possessing drugs. The incident allegedly occured on December 11 of last year. The lawsuit was filed against the district, the Board of Education, Superintendent Robert Finster, Middle and High School Principal Eric Luther, elementary school principal amy Bird, and a school nurse, Kelly Avallone.
