A sixty-four-year-old Lake Placid man allegedly shoved a 13-year-old hockey player into a wall following a youth hockey game in St. Lawrence County earlier this month.
Sherif's deputies say Jimmy O'Brien slammed the teen's head into the cement wall in the locker room at the Norfolk Arena back on December 17. O'Brien was reportedly upset about an incident involving his child and the teen that happened during the game.
The alleged victim, who is from Canton but plays for a team in Norwood, is said to have suffered a concussion.
O'Brien has been charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
