Posted by news on 1/21/2017 8:18:00 AM.
Todd Demar, the Fire Department Captain known for ruffling feathers at City Hall, will be retiring early next year.

According to the Watertown Daily Times, Demar recently informed Fire Chief Dale Herman he would be retiring after 20 years of service. Demar has made headlines in the last year for being a vocal critic of the City Managers Department over their handling of a long contract dispute with the Fire Department's Union. Demar also ran unsuccessfully for City Council last year, and he was banned from City Hall after confronting then Mayor Jeff Graham over confidential information being posted on his blog.
