Voters to decide whether Clayton will bury power lines
Posted by news on 2/2/2017 5:10:00 AM.
Tomorrow is the day for residents in the village of Clayton. Voters there will decide whether village leaders can go forward with a $5 million bond to be used on burying power lines.

Officials in Clayton claim the lines are potentially dangerous due to their proximity to buildings, which is why they want them moved underground. But some residents have been upset with the plan, not wanting the expensive bond to be used on the project.

Polling begins at noon and runs through 9 p.m. according to the Watertown Daily Times, with results being announced tomorrow.
