A North Country village will be one of the municipalities collecting on a chunk of state funding.
Something called the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation Board of Directors is doling out grants and low-interest loans.
In Lowville, the state is giving $10.9 million total to help cover work to be done on the sewer system. Another $5.3 million will go toward improving the wastewater plant.
The funding for the village of Lowville will come in both a New York State Water grant and loans.
