A threatening text message led to a felony charge for a Calcium man.

Police say 35-year-old Patrick Collins II violated the terms of an order of protection when he texted a woman to tell her he was going to spit in her face. Collins allegedly sent the text at about 2:40 last Wednesday afternoon. He has been charged with felony first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment.

Collins was taken to jail before appearing in City Court.
