The absentees have been counted, and the result stays the same in the village of Clayton: The power lines will be buried.

Initially, residents there voted in favor to use a $5 million bond put the lines underground, 271-197. But the final result couldn't become official until the over 120 absentee ballots were counted. The final result, all votes in, puts the final number at 319 in favor to 243 against.

The work to bury the lines will likely be done inconjunction with a major roadwork project.
