When measuring in population factors, one North Country county has among the fewest primary care doctors in New York State.

The numbers were crunched by syracuse.com, which put Jefferson County at 24 when it comes to the availability of primary care physicians.

The only other local area to rate was Oswego County, which came in at No. 12 in the list of the fewest primary docs.

While on the flip side of the ratings, Nassau County has the most primary care physicians.
