After it was reported the old zinc mine in St. Lawrence County had a new life in a new owner, we are learning that the facility in Folwer might eventually employ hundreds of people.

The CEO of Titan Mning Corporation told 7 News that the hope is to have 150 workers on site by the end of the year, with the potential long-term goal of hiring 400.

It's believed that the ground and land nearby could produce "eight years' worth of ore."

Titan paid about $40 million in total for the mine.
