Police in St. Lawrence County checking on the welfare of a child instead came upon a meth lab.
According to officers, 24-year-old Kelsey Rubadue had meth-making materials inside her Ogdensburg home. It also turns out that Rubadue had an outstanding warrant. She was arrested on several charges, including endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and resisting arrest.
Rubadue was taken to jail on $2,500 bail and is due back in Ogdensburg City court at a later date.
