Watertown woman indicted after allegedly forcing a woman to withdraw money from ATM

The Watertown woman initally accused of forcing a 69-year-old woman to withdraw money from an ATM has been indicted by a grand jury.

According to 7 News, 34-year-old Kimberly Smith is now facing first-degree robbery and second-degree kidnapping charges.

It was back in October when Smith allegedly approached the woman for a ride from Salmon Run Mall back downtown. On the drive, Smith is then said to have threatened the woman with a knife, and then making the alleged victim withdraw $200 from her account.

Using surveillance footage, sheriff's deputies were able to ID Smith and make the arrest.
