A local health group says the drug problem has gotten so bad here, it's now planning to open up a needle exchange in downtown Watertown.
According to 7 News, ACR Health is looking to take over a store front in the Franklin Building which would take in used and give out clean needles.
That area off Public Square has reportedly been a hot-spot of sorts for drug activity.
As for concerns, an official with knowledge of the plan told 7 that "people will not be allowed to hangout" at the location and that the other businesses in the Franklin Building will not be affected.
The goal is to have the needle exhange open by October 1.
