Two business owners inside the Franklin Building in Watertown do no want to be apart of any campaign platforms for City Council.
Cliff Olney, one of the five people running for two seats, said during our candidate's forum last week that business owners told him they were against ACR Health opening a place where people could drop off used and pick up clean needles in the Franklin Building.
Oleny opposes the needle exchange opening on Public Square.
Now, according to the Watertown Daily Times, two owners say they never wanted Olney to take their concerns public. One of the owners telling the Times that Olney is "not telling the truth."
The needle exchange is set to open next month.
