A judge in Lewis County says the man is accused of attacking his boss with a chain is not fit to stand trial.

Last February, 29-year-old Kyle Poore allegedly busted into his employer's New Bremen home, made his way to the bedroom and attacked Paul Lyndaker, utlimately cutting a tendon in the victim's hand.
The Watertown Daily Times reports that a judge has ordered Poore be held in a psychiatric facility in Rochester for one year instead of going to trial on charges of second-degree assault, third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to the Times, Poore will be re-evaluated at least once a year, and that he could spend up to 16 years at the facility if he is never deemed competent to go to court.
