The St. Lawrence county man accused of stabbing another man underneath a bridge in Potsdam last spring is now facing attempted murder.

Police say 22-year-old Russell Snyder III of Potsdam assaulted the man under the Sandstone Drive bridge using a switchblade back on April 28.
Snyder originally faced multiple lesser charges, but a grand jury, according to 7 News, indicted him on the attempted murder charge as well as second-degree assault Monday.
Snyder remains in jail, and is due back in court at a later date.
