Term limits and election districts will not be coming to city of Ogdensburg government any time soon.
Council members met earlier this week to discuss potential changes to the city charter. Limiting the amount of time members could serve and divying up the city into districts did not garner favor from lawmakers.
There will be some minor tweaks though, as according to the Watertown Daily Times, some city job descriptions will be updated and there will also be tweaks to administrative roles.
Those moves will go into effect after a vote at Council's next meeting in November.
