Man arrested, accused of sexually exploiting a Carthage boy he met playing video games online

A warning for parents with children who play video games online: a 12-year-old Carthage boy was allegedly the target of a sexual predator.


Police have charged 22-year-old Cammron Robbinson fo New Paltz, NY with two felony counts, including sexually exploiting a child.
 
Syracuse.com reports Robbinson and the little boy played online video games together through Playstation 4. After talking while playing, Robinson then allegedly sought graphic pictures of the boy through text message and Facebook messenger.
 
The boy's mother told authorties she found "explict text messages" from Robinson on her son's phone.
 
Police say after searching Robinson's laptop, they found "numerous photos containing child pornography."
 
Robinson was taken to Jefferson County Jail, held on $250,000 bail.
