The budget for the next year is set for St. Lawrence County.
The spending plan approved by county legislators will give a slight decrease to property taxes, but will eliminate 10 full-time jobs.
According to the Watertown Daily Times, a resident with a home assessed at $100,000 will pay about $3 less in property taxes.
While ten positions are being cut--like certain counselors and a community health nurse--there will be eight positions added into the budget.
Those moves reportedly save about $165,000 in total for the county.
