Police say 29-year-old Jeremy Flowers had several packets of crack cocaine "secreted" in a "body cavity."
The Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force initially pulled Flowers over on State Street in the village of Carthage because he had a warrant out for his arrest.
In total, Flowers is accused of having "17 envelopes" of the drugs inside his cavity at the time, all with a total street value of about $850.
On top of the previous outstanding charges, Flowers is now also facing third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree promoting prison contraband.
He was taken to jail and held without bail.
