Residents in the Belleville-Henderson School District will have their say today on whether a major project will go forward.
The district is pushing for the captial project, which will ultimately cost taxpayers $1.8 million. New York, however, would reimburse the funds over the course of 15 years. The plan, which would be broken up into multiple phases, is to improve the athletic fields, spruce up the auditorium, as well as a major overhaul of the school's heating system.
Voting is open from 2:00 through 8:00 today--depending on the weather--with ballots available inside the main foyer of the building on County Route 75 in Belleville.
