If you get a phone call from an Apple Support rep out of Syracuse saying there are issues with your iCloud account, you're advised to not give out any personal information.

A listener of 790 WTNY, Tina Olley, tipped us off that someone using a phone number tied to the Apple Store out of Syracuse has been calling around, telling people their accounts have been hacked. The scammer then asks for personal information to either verify the account or to perform an update.

The store in in Syracuse confirmed that it is a scam and a recording advises people to hang up and to not disclose any info.

If you have further questions, you're advised to visit FBI.gov and search "cyber crime."
