The reason Watertown City School District switched busing companies might have ben due to "catastrophic" errors in the bidding process.

Last week, it was learned the district picked First Student over Freeman Bus Corp. at a reported savings of $6.7 million.
Now, officials from Freeman tell the Watertown Daily Times there were complications in the bidding process and that First Student's bid included inaccurate numbers.
First Student, meanwhile, is set to take over Watertown's busing in July with a year-to-year deal that could last through the 2023 school year.
