Watertown lawmakers are still facing questions days after deciding to part way with the City Manager.
The Watertown Daily Times blasted the move in an editorial earlier in the week. In response, 7 News caught up with some council members to determine what led to their not renewing Sharon Addison's contract.
Councilwoman Lisa Ruggiero said Addison wasn't responsive to anticipated coming changes, saying Addison's approach was, "almost like, This is what we're doing and we're doing it."
On Wednesday, Councilman Cody Horbacz told us on 790 WTNY that the city was going in a "different direction" and that Addison's "directive" was from a different council.
It's expected Addison will stay on in the role of City Manager through the end of her contract in June.
