A bidding war for the closed-up Northside Improvement League headquarters is apparently over.
Mike Lundy, a local developer, first made an offer for the property on Mill Street in the city back in 2014 when the League moved out.
It was only recently when Lundy decided to take the League to court after he learned it had instead made a deal with Watertown businessman Jake Johnson. Lundy then upped his offer to $325,000--over $100,000 more than Johnson--to buy the League's former home.
Johnson has decided to bow out of the negotiations, paving the way for Lundy to complete the deal.
Before that can happen, though, a judge will need to sign off on the move.
