The City of Watertown firefighter injured in a February fire is out of the hospital.
The Watertown Daily Times reports T.G. Kolb was transported from Upstate Medical to a rehabilitation center--he's not expected to be home until sometime later this spring.
Kolb suffered a broken pelvis and hip socket when a wall collapsed while battling a blaze that tore through a Newell Street building last month.
Both Scott Munson of Watertown and John Long from Brownville have been charged in connection with starting the fire.
Meanwhile, with Kolb out, Fire Chief Dale Herman told City Council he's down six firefighters due to varying health-related issues.
Chief Herman asked Council to be allowed to hire additional staff to help cut back on overtime usage, a point of contention in a three-year-plus contract battle with the city.
