Nearly three weeks after a fire burned through a building in Watertown, crews are beginning the process of tearing it down.
Demolition has started on the charred remains of the structure on Newell Street.
Two 18-year-olds, Scott Munson of Watertown and John Long from Brownville, are accused of starting the blaze that ultimately led to a city firefighter suffering a serious injury.
Samaritan Medical Center owns the property, with officials previously telling the Watertown Daily Times that they plan on selling it off as soon as the site is cleared.
The entire demolitioning process could take another two to three weeks to complete.
