3 Arrested After Drug Raid

Three people in Lewis County are charged with making meth.

According to 7 News, State Police said a search warrant was executed by multiple agencies, including federal, on Cherry Street in Lyons Falls. Authorities seized 15 grams of Methamphetamine with a street value in excess of $1,500, 4 grams of Heroin laced with Fentanyl, 177 Sudafed Pills, numerous assorted prescription pills, 3-gun sound suppressors (silencers) assorted guns, including assault rifles, & handguns, methamphetamine manufacturing materials, assorted ammunition in excess of a thousand rounds, & numerous high capacity ammunition magazines that were loaded with live ammunition. Police say all the weapons were illegally possessed. 35 year old Victor Ehlers of Lyons Falls is facing federal charges of possession of a listed chemical, knowing it will be used to manufacture a controlled substance, and possession of a firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. 39 year old Angela Brouty of Lyons Falls is facing criminal possession of a controlled substance, 3rd degree, and manufacturing methamphetamine, 3rd degree. 21 year old Corey Marolf of Turin is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, 3rd degree. He also had an active probation warrant for criminal possession of a weapon, 4th degree. Ehlers was arraigned before a U.S. magistrate and is being held at the Madison County Jail without bail. Brouty and Marolf are being held at the Lewis County Jail on $10,000 bail.
