Stephens Media Group Announces News Director New Hire
Stephens Media Group is thrilled to announce Tyler Clemons as News Director for the Watertown Radio Stations: 790 AM WTNY, WFRY Froggy97, WCIZ Classic Hits Z93, and WNER 1410AM The Winner.
Mr. Clemons is a lifelong resident of Carthage, graduating from Carthage High in 2014 and from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2017. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Audio/Radio Production. This is his 2nd stint at “Watertown’s Heritage Stations,” he served briefly as News Director in 2018. Most recently he served as Communications Director for Senator Mark Walczyk.
Mr. Clemons brings fierce passion for news and a fresh perspective to the newsroom. He will be live on air in the weekday mornings, providing news updates and interacting with current morning show talent on Froggy 97, Classic Hits Z93, and 790 WTNY. Mr. Clemons will also be working to bring new content and production to each of the four stations.
